Hunting Information
Pheasant Hunting
When
you arrive at the new hunting lodge, we'll arrange registration, licensing,
and sleeping quarters. In the morning, after a Continental Breakfast, you'll
meet with your guide for a brief hunting safety review. Next, load up your
dogs and gear for a short drive to the ranches with scenery equivalent to "Dances
With Wolves". You won't want to forget your camera for this hunting
experience. We charge for our pheasant hunts, but the extraordinary scenery,
natural settings, brilliant sunrises and sunsets, and quiet serenity are
free to the beholder. Upon arriving at the field, you'll have time to acclimate
your well-trained hunting dog and work out hunting strategies (deciding walkers
and blockers). No dogs? No problem. Our guides have well trained pointers
and retrievers to maximize your hunt. Plan on having Lunch & Refreshments
in the field.
All our pheasant hunts are guided for 3 good reasons: 1.) On 15,000 acres of range country, you could stray onto a neighbors' property or become lost. 2.) Safety is a priority and our hunting guides are there to ensure safe sportsmanship. 3.) Your hunting guide knows the lay of the land and the movement trends of the birds, and they'll direct you to the best location during the time of the season you are here.
Whitetail & Mule Deer Hunting
Our Whitetail and Mule deer hunting packages include lodging, meals and beverages, lodge amenities, field transportation and guide. The cost of a 5 day 6 night hunt is:
- $4500.00\ per person
- $5500.00 \ per person for a combination hunt
Our success rates for our whitetail deer hunting and mule deer hunting has been 92% for the past 10 years.
Tags are through a lottery draw and the cost is $155.00 and can be done online. We hunt in stands, box stands, ladder stands, and tops of hills over the river bottom.
Specialty Hunts
Absolutely Pheasants also offers specialty hunts for Merriman Wild Turkey, Sharp Tail Grouse, Prairie Chicken, Canadian Geese, & Ducks. Varmint specialty hunts available for Coyote, Fox & Prairie Dogs.

The Lodge
Absolutely Pheasants has a hunting lodge now enabling us to host larger groups (sleeps 16), more groups during the season, and offer additional amenities for an enjoyable stay.
Lodging includes a Continental Breakfast, Lunch & Refreshments in the Field, and a Hearty Home Cooked Supper with Premium Beverages.
Also for your relaxation, visit our Sports Room with entertainment, snacks and premium beverages and a great area for reminiscing over the days hunting events. The Sports Room is also furnished to host business meetings if you're hosting clients. Our Pro Shop carries many accessories you may have forgotten, as well as hunting memorabilia and gifts.
The Gun & Gear Room is conveniently located at the front drive up area to store your hunting equipment and outdoor wear. Your dog will be comfortable also at our Dog Kennels in the back yard.
